Universal Launcher

Do you guys have any plans on making some sort of universal launcher? This would make downloading/updating different versions or having separate profiles for each version a lot easier to manage, kind of like how Minecraft has their launcher.

2 mods exist currently that i'm aware of that try to address this:

judging from the downloads of those mods, seems more than a few had the interest too
