Ryan Hannagan Posted July 29, 2025 Report Posted July 29, 2025 Normally, I get 165 FPS (which is what I have my limit set to) with high GPU utilization (around 90%) with almost all of my graphics settings maxed out. For whatever reason, half the time I play I get around half that FPS. It's almost always the same number, ~82 FPS with ~50% GPU utilization. I could be not moving and looking in the same direction and one second I have 165 FPS, the next, 82 FPS. I've tired monkeying around with different graphics settings but to no avail. It doesn't feel like a stutter when it drops down, it just feels like I have half the FPS. I monitor my CPU utilization as well on every core, and it's sitting around the low 20%'s so I don't think I'm limited there. Any advice on a way forward? I've read through the performance guide but haven't found anything that solves my issue. I also haven't seen any forum post that helps sadly. Thanks! ben10_ Posted September 26, 2025 Report Posted September 26, 2025 i have this EXACT same problem. it was fine taking full advantage of my gpu and now the usage doesn't go above 70ish and the performance is much worse
krulaks Posted October 6, 2025 Report Posted October 6, 2025 yup, same issue with rtx 5090. Seems like that view distance is the main issue
