And it's only time before we start seeing VS Content Creators try to apply this to Vintage Story, which is great! With this stress test, I'd like to attempt a VS Civilization Simulation! While it will only be 100 players at first to make sure our server can handle it, the end goal is definitely 1000 players! Ambitious? Yes, probably impossible? Also yes! Am I still wanting to try it? Absolutely, I'm curious what kind of hardware this takes, and the likely issues that are to appear. So if you're interested, leave a comment below! I am getting a Discord Server set up and will be able to send invites soon!

Gorzealion Posted August 17, 2025 Report Posted August 17, 2025 I would be very interested. I have simulated civilization organization on previous Vintage Story servers. Nation building trends in this game are the most viable, and if we used a mod specific that adds ruin castles and medieval structures. These points make amazing locations for the foundations of the forming of new communities and civilizations.

We’re working out a few kinks to ensure it doesn’t get chaotic day one! Should be able to send invites sometime this week!

We’re currently only at about 10 Members, I’m going to look into advertising on other platforms this weekend but absolutely you can join!
