Update Launcher

A launcher that provides updates when they are available would be a good accessibility point for players - especially on Linux. This would make updating easier as updating on different operating systems can be tricky. It's nice that the game tells you when an update is available. If taken a step further, this would be a wonderful feature.

doesn't game do that on linux already?

Every time i launch my game it tells me when a new version is available and i click update and it will download and update the game automaticly.

I think they way they do updates is fine. They GIVE you the option to update the game, and assuming you got any mods not compatible with the newest patch then you have time to remove them and update the game afterwards. I might be in agreement if they had the update button more obvious and was perpetual after loading a save then going back to the main menu. But that's neither here or there

So you want the launcher to come with the files already, and then clicking the button installs it? I'm not really understanding what the current feature isn't doing for you.
