The general principle is to create a mod within a time frame that matches a certain theme or criteria! The theme of this month is: SPOOKY! Entries this month must be submitted on or before October 14th 2025. Winners: - Best Technically Impressive Mod - Best Graphically Impressive Mod - Best Overall Mod All winners and their mods will be announced on the next month's mod jam, as well as the (still unofficial) VS Works Discord Server. How To Submit: You'll need to build your mod and submit to the Vintage Story Mod DB. In your mods description, please include the following text: Quote This mod was created for the monthly Unofficial Mod Jam, hosted by Nat. The theme for this month was 'Spooky'. When your mod is released, please fill in this form: https://forms.gle/pLWsrsyDMJ4G3euV7. You'll need your moddb link, your discord username, and a potential explanation of how your mod meets the theme (if its not obvious!) Rules: Any mod type is allowed. This includes theme, content, or code mods. Mods must follow the theme. Mods must follow the VS and ModDB TOS. Any violations to this rule will result in further action with the VS moderators. Mods must be uploaded to ModDB to be entered. Please also include the text in your mod description, as mentioned in the "how to submit" section. Mods can be done in a team or done solo. The purpose of the jam is to have fun, as well as hone your modding skills or potentially get into modding! If you need any support with modding, feel free to use the channels in the (Unofficial) VS Works Discord Server or in the #mod-development channel on the main VS server. Mods must be new. You should not use any mod released or made before the mod jam started, regardless of whether you own it. Mods that are deemed to not follow the rules will unfortunately not be taken into account for the mod jam. Notes: Thanks to the VS Moderators for letting me post this. I am just not capable enough nor do I have the imagination to come up with something that could fit the bill.
