Before posting this request here, I spent several days trying to implement this feature myself. However, my lack of programming knowledge has proven to be a major obstacle.

That's why I'm coming here to request this feature. The concept for the mod is simple, but apparently quite complex to implement.

I would like to have a "modular" forge, one that could be used for decoration, but also for actual crafting, and that could be customized. This is why I came up with the idea of using stacks of coal and charcoal. By placing the items you would normally place in a forge on top of these stacks, you could achieve the same functionality as with a regular forge, while also adding decorative elements and, most importantly, a larger crafting area.
