Lookstothestars Posted October 9, 2025 Report Posted October 9, 2025 I think it's self-explanatory but I think season specific music could really add to VS's atmoshpere. Kind of like how Zelda games have region specific music. Like, the music in Hebra in Breath of the wild and Tears of the Kingdom literally sounds cold and there are a couple of music theory videos about how music can really encapsulate such specific vibes. And I think it could be both ambience music and melodic music so it would not have to move away from it's current direction. :3 1
Never Jhonsen Posted October 9, 2025 Report Posted October 9, 2025 Good news, Vintage Story DOES have season-specific music https://lophi.bandcamp.com/album/vintage-story-ost It also has other task-based music that has a chance of playing. Most are denoted by their names as to when they could play. 2

LadyWYT Posted October 10, 2025 Report Posted October 10, 2025 Also worth noting that there is region specific music too, and I don't mean the special tracks that play in story locations. Currently, there's only one regional music piece I'm aware of, and that's for the arctic...specifically arctic nights, I want to say. 1
