Mrgz Posted November 7, 2025 Report Posted November 7, 2025 I am loving this game so much. I have got a forever world going and I wanted to be able to move some of my bred animals to a new location and have been getting more frustrated by animal transport as time goes on. First my goats just wouldn't have a female baby so it took a long time to even begin down the road of domestication. That is just bad luck on my part and I don't blame the game. It happens. What bugged me was that once I did have a female baby I couldn't trap it. I don't mean picking it up like you can with gen 5 babies. I mean I had a baby in a 1x1 area surrounded by traps with bait it would want for over 40 in game days and it didn't set one off even a single time. Not even a failed trap attempt. Nothing. When the first one grew up I swapped in another baby. After so long trying to bait trap gen 1 baby goats, I finally had a gen 2 baby that according to the wiki I could leash. Yay! Problem solved right? No. I can leash that baby goat but I can't lead it anywhere. The rope will snap when I try to pull it in a direction. I can only 'scare' it while holding the rope its attached too, but it wont go uphill. The rope gets stuck on the smallest block and any pulling snaps it. Sorry but in no world can a baby goat have enough force to snap a thick rope. This just doesn't make any sense. I should be able to pull that baby goat down my long path without any issues until I get to my sailboat where then yes, maybe I should encounter difficulty getting it into the dang boat. But just simply walking it shouldn't be impossible. Holding food, attempting to push it up, so far nothing I have tried has worked to get this goat where I want it. This one single thing has made me rage quit the game so many times when I really want to be playing it and going to new lands to build new great things. Please, please fix this. 3
