SpookyJ Posted November 13, 2025 Report Posted November 13, 2025 Likely not going to happen. Having everyone from spongebob to goku to saddam hussein running around would kill the vibe. This really isnt that kind of game and custom skins just aren't a good fit. 2

There is a specific reason that the choices are what they are regarding character customization. However, that also doesn't mean that the player can't choose something else if they don't like vanilla options--this is where mods come in handy. There are a plethora of various mods already on the database that alter character skin tones, eyes, expressions, and in some cases change the character model entirely. If you can't find what you're looking for, you can always take a stab at modding yourself. Vintage Story is very user-friendly when it comes to jumping into modding, and the wiki can help you get started.
