Personally while Hytale sounds great to me, a more gritty survival version sounds much more appealing to me. Honestly even if there was a mode that added fantasy creatures that were super strong and better avoided I think that would be awesome and maybe like goblins/orcs would occasionally try to raid your base in search of food near winter! Anyways I think adding some optional fantasy element to the game would be super awesome while still keeping the core survival gameplay, it would kinda remind me of that Grimgar anime which really highlights the brutality of surviving in a fantasy world. 1

I'd recommend taking a look through the database and trying a few out if you're looking to change things up from the standard gameplay. 2
