Єгорія Posted January 18 Report Posted January 18 Which would be in rings, or, well, squares around the central four voxels. This would allow to complete layers in one click for most symmetrical objects, speeding up the clayforming a lot. It should require mechanical power. It would be unsuitable for molds and such, still, and weirdly, for bowls... 2
-Glue- Posted January 23 Report Posted January 23 It would be a great way to naturally implement the knapster mod. Using the pottery wheel could make it auto complete valid recipes. Things like shingles or molds could be handled by making stamps or wood molds of some sort. I love the knapping and clayforming system, but it does get tedious pretty fast. Especially with shingles...
Monkeylord Posted January 23 Report Posted January 23 Yeah, automating at least the symetrical clayforming objects would be neat
marmarmar34 Posted January 23 Report Posted January 23 I saw the mod for the pottery wheel and I'm all for it! Automation to make the early mundane stuff quicker to accomplish is alright by me! Now I just hope they add custom glaze for pots in the future as well!
Monsota Posted January 23 Report Posted January 23 Myself, I'm never going to turn down the opportunity to earn quality of life tools in-game. However, I do feel like it should have some secondary use if at all possible, given that once you've made the molds you want it almost feels like a one-and-done thing. Perhaps this could come with the (probably largely aesthetic) ability to customize your own pots or vessels or bowls? In pairing with marmarmar34's glaze idea, this could be a fun task to make the things you use on the daily look quite nice. 1
