Zonk-PJ Posted January 19 Report Posted January 19 Is there a way to have different singleplayer worlds with different mod configuration that does not entail to have to check and uncheck the mods every time you want to change world? I do not know, maybe there is a mod that allows to do that, maybe is a feature that is intended for the future. Because right now i have 3 singleplayer worlds with different mods and every time i want to change from one to the other is horrible. I have each world mod list in an excel so i can check the appropriate mods for the world I intend to play... IMHO the best thing will be to have another Tab in the Customize World screen, maybe a button in the Modify World, but i think something like that would be great. Hope it exists and i am just missing it.
Foe Hammer Posted January 20 Report Posted January 20 As far as I am aware there is no system in place for it at this time. There might be a mid that handles it, like one of the mod updaters/managers. On the roadmap they do currently have "Modpack support" listed, so that is at least for now on their radar. Whether that will come with a way to set them for specific worlds, I could not tell you. That all said, one way I can think to do it is to have all the mods for each world in separate folders, and when you want to switch, you can just swap the mod folder contents. It is a bit odd, but probably faster than going through the checklist every time you want to switch.
Zonk-PJ Posted January 20 Author Report Posted January 20 Did not know it might be in their roadmap. Hope it is and gets done soon. And yeah, change folders might at least be quicker. Thanks for the good idea! 1
