jahnosaurus Posted February 1 Report Posted February 1 (edited) Hello fellow vintageneers! I have been playing unmodded for 130+ hrs and im really liking this game. But i wanted to try some mods with my bro so i rented a server from GhostCap and placed the mods on the server and i think everything works fine, its just that i start on an island, a not very big island. And i dont know how to change that, ive tried to change the some values with commands but it doesnt work. The mods i use are: Auto Map Markers, Plains and valleys, Primitive survival. I dont know what to do and i would appreciate some guidance, thank you. PS This is my first time doing anything like this so its a high probability that im doing a really rookie mistake and im not very bright... Edited February 1 by jahnosaurus
Tj Pepler - Critcher Posted February 1 Report Posted February 1 I don't know your server or if they have a tool to make it easy or not but you have a config file named serverconfig.json on your server, not scary just a text file and in that config file you will find a place called WorldName or maybe just World, but if you change that name and save your config you will be in a new world next time you start. Now please anyone reading this is old probably out of date off the top of my head sort of thing so, correct me if I'm a dirty liar face but I think that's about all there is to it.

Generally people first create their world in Single Player and then upload the created file to the server. https://wiki.vintagestory.at/Setting_up_a_Multiplayer_Server#Basic_Configuration
Solution jahnosaurus Posted February 2 Author Solution Report Posted February 2 Thanks for the replies! i did manage to get it to make a new world, although i dont know what i did lol. But i did encounter another problem instead, there were huge chunks of the world missing. But with some /wregen and prune it was solved //media.invisioncic.com/r268468/emoticons/smile.png Thanks again for your time and advice!
