Tegelstenald Posted February 19 Report Posted February 19 We've recently been teased of leather blocks and leather stitching for 1.22 and as every other hairy masculine neanderthal cro-magnon caveman vintage story player I thought that a rawhide/pelt variant would be an easy retexture to make plus it would function as an early game equivelent of a leather block and stitching and it would be great for primitive style builds such as mammoth huts, tipis and any other hide huts, and I r e a l l y want me a mammoth hut. https://lewis-clark.org/media/buffalo-hide-teepee-1.jpghttps://www.telegraph.co.uk/content/dam/gaming/2016/01/26/FCP_08_Village_Complete_Screenshots_PREVIEW_PR_160126_6pm_CET_1453716689_trans_NvBQzQNjv4BqNJjoeBT78QIaYdkJdEY4CnGTJFJS74MYhNY6w3GNbO8.jpg?imwidth=480https://th.bing.com/th/id/OIP.C2AWWYg22etP38tufgMxhAHaFj?w=221&h=185&c=7&r=0&o=7&pid=1.7&rm=3
LadyWYT Posted February 19 Report Posted February 19 I was thinking less along the lines of building and more along the lines of being able to create rawhide strips for braiding into cords, or using rawhide as another option for early game shields. It'd need some sort of basic processing to keep the hide from rotting, of course, but it could help reduce some of the reliance on reeds. 1
