@ijkdenem If you want to do some climbing at least up and down trees I did a release for 1.21.6 of that one.  I't not grappling hooks but it is pretty fun anyways
Take a look if you're interested CM-ClimbTrees But how you are while climbing the tree is exactly how you are on the grappling hook rope, so you can build and place things while climbing, this will give you a very good idea of how grappling hook feels.

i tried the CM-ClimbTrees mod. i fell from a redwood. no regrets. 10/10 would fall again.

btw i found out no bucket clutch or safe landing in shallow water from that height in this game cuz REALISM lol.

i just downloaded the grappling hook mod an hour or so ago. since i am now in the vs1.22 stable version i will try it later and report back HERE to let you know how i felt trying it out.
