Ever since I installed vintage story I have been spending nearly every in-game second chiseling. Absolute architectural masterpieces and wizardry that Minecraft could never dream of. Because I tried in Minecraft and the chiseling mods really, really crank the brakes on your GPU. For Vintage Story its a much smoother experience, but it's ceiling is just much higher and eventually ts starts to slow down too. So I decided to try combining a structure into one singular piece by exporting the structure as a blueprint. Loading that blueprint into my 3D modeling program, combining the meshes, and then exporting that into a singular .obj with its own custom reference texture sheet.  I made a very simple mod (with a lot of help from our AI overlords) and imported the structure back into the game, plopped it down, and..

It works.

Same building. Same textures. Same chiseled bits. And all in the same dimensions that they originally filled. Its recognized as a "block" and I'm able to attach my torches, doors, and lanterns all back where they were originally. But fml it was a process. And I can't code.

So I was wondering if it was possible to create a mod that does it all for you. It would essentially work like creating a blueprint, but it gets a list of all of the block textures in your structure, creates a reference sheet, combines all of the voxels into a singular geometry, and then deletes the original voxels that comprised the structure and replaces it perfectly with the new object. You wouldn't be able to alter the structure once its done. It'll probably need to be indestructible, or have incredibly high 'HP' so that someone can't rock up, mine your house, and run off...
