I tried to connect to my vintage story, after a long pause (a couple years i think) and my password was no longer working. I tried changing it (no big deal) , but then realised it was changed on the website and, to make things even more confusing, i noticed i had notification to tell me i had posted a reply on my topic ... So, my game account is different from my forum account, and i didn't just made 2 accounts for absolutely no good reasons, right ?
Parabola Posted March 27 Report Posted March 27 Firstly congrats on spelling Arthopleura correctly, unlike some other survival game. The FAQ explains that: Quote For password resets and login issues in particular, make sure you're using this page for resets. We use two separate account systems between the forums and the game client. Oftentimes players will reset their forum account password on accident when trying to reset their game account password. You need to use that link to reset your game client password. Seeing as your account has posts dating back to 2023 I'd say you reset your forum account password.
