When I click, I select my 4th backpack slot instead of using my item/tool

I may be missing something really obvious here, but whenever I click, I immediately select my 4th backpack slot. Is there a key I need to press to disable this, or is it just a bug? I am using a trackpad on a mac.

Macbook trackpads seem to be difficult for some apps to interpret properly. Most likely what is happening is that you are just barely brushing the trackpad with a second finger in the process of clicking, which the game interprets as scrolling through your hotbar slots.

Thank you, I'll try clicking more carefully and see if it resolves the issue.

This has unfortunately not provided any better results, I even connected my old mouse and the problem still persists. The issue does not seem to be related to scrolling as the slot is chosen almost instantly. I have attached a video below to show the issue.

Turns out I'm just really retarded T.T, somehow when editing my key binds I managed to click twice on 'Select Backpack Slot 4', sorry everyone.
