TSTsambe Posted May 13 Report Posted May 13 I accidentally made a Helve hammer mold instead of a normal Hammer mold. Is there a way to destroy the mold and get my clay back? I tried googling for almost 15 minutes and didnt find anything or anyone asking this question.

If you misclick your recipe you can immediately hit escape to return the one clay used to start, but once you've placed voxels on the form you can only delete it. Fortunately, you will end up using that helve hammer mold eventually. Even more fortunately, clay isn't a particularly scarce resource once you've found it. So, it should be easy enough to go back to the clay deposit and dig up a few more stacks. 1

Switching to creative mode will let you delete the unwanted mold and give yourself the clay back, at which point you can simply switch back to survival mode and continue on like nothing ever happened. If you're playing on a server though, you may be out of luck since you'll need admin permission to do this. Of course, if you don't have a helve hammer yet, you can always use the mold to cast a bronze helve hammer head later.
