This takes place two centuries into the fourth age, Sauron may be defeated but a new shadow rises within Gondor. Quick facts: - We are medium RP, to us this means we value story experience and community events that are not at the expense of gameplay and the player experience, due to us being based in the Fourth age, it is basically the end of Tolkien lore, thus we have creative freedom to create our own stories. - Nine playable races including: Numenoreans, Northmen, Easterlings, Goblins, Orcs, Dwarves, and three playable under special circumstances. - By using the worldpainter mod, this is the second one we've made and this one is a banger. **screenshots below**. - Custom mods, we created a series of patches and forks which better serve the goals and theming of the server. - Gamified, we while care about lore we aren't purists, we've changed the map to encourage player encounters and make a denser experience - Don't like PVP? Stay safe in the cities, or just chill out in the Shire, a large safezone. - Like PVP? Stalk the roads and mug travellers, or travellers who stray too far in the wilderness tend to go missing for good. - <:trade_scale:715352932647829584> A few recipes are faction locked or difficult for others, encouraging trade. - Multiple factions to play each with their own playstyles, join the massive empire of Gondor, or work with Angmar to conspire to break it from the inside. - Completely unbalanced combat, yeah we use combat overhaul and trial and error will be the only way forward. - Factions are paid a yearly (in game year) tax based on how much land they own, they can use these rare tokens to buy a large number of powerful boons and buffs. Or simply use it to buy mithril. - Map easter eggs, features, bugs, oh my! More details are found below, as we cobble together the final details.
