Atemo Posted August 25 Report Posted August 25 Totally not heavily inspired by the blue lights 'clutter' found in some places of the game… The difference between them and lanterns is quite staggering. I had forgotten what white lighting can do to a room! Chiseling is my passion. I wish the palette of CreativeBlocks was a little bigger/more varied, I wanted to make these neons a white colour with a slight off-yellow hue, but yellow light with white-or-transparent glass or white light with yellow glass does not look like I want it to. Hm… I suppose it is nothing a mod cannot fix. Any suggestions as to how to make them integrate better with the base game/look like they belong? Because at the moment, they are quite simplistic, and just have a vibe that does not quite fit Vintage Story, to me. I am still a beginner, as you can guess. Cheers! 1 1
MoonyBeasty Posted August 26 Report Posted August 26 I think they fit in just fine! But if you want to try using rusty or corroded metal blocks, that might match the game's clutter blocks better than the clean gray you got there. You could also put caps on the ends of the lights like the pipe lamps.

I am also going to make a design that is closer to the ceiling and not hanging like that, it allows it to be sleeker. I might change the metal used to be a little darker as well. Thank you!
