Same here, with a Ryzen 7 9850X3D and RX 9070XT, 2×16 GB DDR5 6000MHz, on Linux (NixOS with the Niri Wayland compositor, my system configuration is publicly visible at https://github.com/Atemo-C/NixOS-configuration). Stutters are drastically reduced once Shadows are turned down and when Dynamic Color Grading is turned off, though they are never quite gone. I have not tested with Windows. On my earlier PC (Ryzen 5 3400G, GTX 1660 SUPER, 2×16 GB DDR4 3200MHz), it ran worse (obviously) but I do not remember it being as stuttery, though this may just be me not being able to remember it properly.

munches on some deliciously chiseled popcorn and doesn't add anything of value to the 'conversation'

Pests are also attracted, though… Thankfully, they are quick to run away. Lots of cute animals and delicious meat!

I put some troughs outside my house, mostly for decoration and getting rid of unused grass and mash, and after a quick trip to explore the world and coming back, I see wildlife coming to eat up! I suppose I should have expected this, but for some reason, in my hundreds of hours of playing, I never thought of just…putting that out there. I suppose, for my survival world, next time I want wild animals, I may not bother with traps directly, but just attract animals a few dozen blocks away from where I roam in my base.

I want to keep it rust-free, however, capping them is something I should have done earlier! I am also going to make a design that is closer to the ceiling and not hanging like that, it allows it to be sleeker. I might change the metal used to be a little darker as well. Thank you!

Totally not heavily inspired by the blue lights 'clutter' found in some places of the game… The difference between them and lanterns is quite staggering. I had forgotten what white lighting can do to a room! Chiseling is my passion. I wish the palette of CreativeBlocks was a little bigger/more varied, I wanted to make these neons a white colour with a slight off-yellow hue, but yellow light with white-or-transparent glass or white light with yellow glass does not look like I want it to. Hm… I suppose it is nothing a mod cannot fix. Any suggestions as to how to make them integrate better with the base game/look like they belong? Because at the moment, they are quite simplistic, and just have a vibe that does not quite fit Vintage Story, to me. I am still a beginner, as you can guess. Cheers!

I am also experimenting with a similar but bigger house design, which allows for actually useful multiple rooms, and much more space to live in, even vertically. I am unsure which size of house to stay with, but I think that an easy solution to that is to build the rooms you need with everything in them, and build the house around them. It can only make it all more interesting! I hope.

It has always seemed a little off to me as well, though I suppose one does not necessarily get nearly as many nutrients more from cooked vegetables than from cooked meat products. On the opposite side, it has also been a surprise to me that one cannot eat raw meat, even if at the cost of less nutrition gained and higher risks of bad side effects. Having your own animals over multiple generations in a sane environment should also make said raw meat a bit less dangerous, though at this point in the game, why one would want to eat raw meat is beyond me. These things are not really that important to the experience, and many similar games do not let you cook vegetables as well, or even worse, do it inconsistently (e.g. Minecraft which lets you bake potatoes but not carrots and the likes, but food in that particular block game is much more of a complete mess than Vintage Story). But I would still not mind seeing this being addressed in one way or the other.

I have played just shy of 320 hours of Vintage Story, 300+ of which have been in my solo survival worlds, the rest in creative to test mechanisms for said survival worlds, and exploring various unmodded online servers. In the past two days, I have been building a small house in a new creative flat world, to fill a little creative hitch and curiosity of mine. Compared to some completely insane and high-quality builds I see on here, mine is but a humble and not that great-looking, empty house; But I wanted to post it here nonetheless, if nothing, as a marker of where my creative adventures began in Vintage Story. And in any similar games in general, for I generally spend all my time in survival… It currently lacks any actual interior decoration, though I have spent a fair amount of time chiseling my way to heaven as I tried to make things look as seamless as possible, only to be cursed by lighting bugs. Ah… As a side note, the only mod that has been used for adding building blocks is VS Roofing Mod. Everything else is from the base game, as far as I am aware. Anyhow, I do not have much more to say. Feast your eyes on this one, if you want, for tonight's dinner will be very French, with an unmistakable limestone-&-oak flavour. Below are a few screenshots of it.
