We plan for no wipes and will stay online for as long as one person is playing it. If you like fiction, and want to create a kingdom with your friends, or create deep lore, this is hopefully the server for you! Worldbuidling - To promote worldbuilding through structures and stories, all lore is made public that you want to be made public. - RP is not necessary, although it is highly recommend, and to keep with what is mentioned above, any information shared in the wiki section is readily available lore that everybody can know without 10 RP hurdles - PvP and Conflict are a major part of a good worldbuilding experience, and in many servers it tends to be discouraged or really difficult to do, here you can make claims to protect your builds and items, as well as your self. You can declare war on your enemies, act as a bandit to people traveling on roads, or lead raiding parties if you wish. We want to openly welcome PvP and conflict without putting builds at risk, so any war is intrinsically non-destructive, and vassalage effects are temporary, which means you remain in control. -Aging, everybody dies, and sometimes for worldbuilding to advance, characters have to perish. Each player has on average 3-4 irl months to live, after which they will have to create a new character or play as their offspring. You still have a lot of lives, but you won't live forever. Karl Kernow Posted September 8 Report Posted September 8 (edited) Hello! I have a few questions I’d like to ask—would that be alright? Is the game mode set to ‘Homo Sapiens’? Next, if it isn’t set to ‘Homo Sapiens’, are ‘Temporal Storm’ and ‘Temporal Rift’ disabled? Also, regarding the recommended RP level, do I need to think about the background and characterisation for each individual character? And what level of RP is required? Finally, which time zone does the server belong to? I’ve just checked, and it was the US. I’m sorry this has turned out to be rather long. I came across this server when I searched the server list using the filter ‘Homo Sapiens’, and I’m quite interested in it. If you have a moment, I’d be delighted if you could reply! Role-playing might be necessary for diplomacy or trade, but I haven’t got round to it yet, so I reckon I’ll be fine. I’ve teamed up with people who are trying to recreate Edo-period Japan, and I’ve decided to build a settlement together. I’m Japanese, so if I can help out in any way, so much the better. What’s more, the admin team are quickly and polite to respond, which is brilliant. And there are no pesky Temporal Rifts or Temporal Storms! The Bloody Drifters and Shivers etc. aren’t running riot on the surface either! It’s absolutely brilliant! As it’s a brand-new server, I hope we can all work together to make it a success.
