Oisin Mccoy Posted 20 hours ago Report Posted 20 hours ago (edited) I am in need of builders interested in Medieval Mediterranean styles for a large city, (very roughly) laid out below. The purpose of this city is to serve as a neutral, shared city that players will spawning, as part of a project that this is incidentally the first public announcement of. I have been building away since the start of July as best I can; but doing so while helping manage mod testing, creating our economy, writing our lore, and many other things, and so i am rather swamped at the minute We are currently in the process of creating a server based on Mount and Blade: Warband's Persistent World mod, which aims to create a simulated feudal society that aims to facilitate both PVP/faction based and non PVP/small group play. This will be possible through the "county system" which divide the map into geographical zones, into which player owned private property and conquerable holdings are distinctly separated. Additionally, we are making an entire custom set of merchants to attempt to foster a true player economy, a herculean task for sure but one we are making great progress with. This isn't supposed to be a description of the whole server- it is much more organised than the impression this crude write up may have given you- but for the purposes of this recruitment it shall be enough; The aforementioned city (for now simply the "Imperial Capital"), serves as an admin held "county", which will contain a great many of all of our custom traders, server information as told through custom NPC dialogue, starter kits for new players, and of course homes for players who wish to live in the capital itself or simply want a second home to flaunt their wealth. Hopefully, the purpose of this project has been conveyed adequately thus far. As for the building related stuff itself, I am really not picky. You don't have to be good at building at all, simply a desire to help out and ability to improve your ability over time shall suffice, nor will you be directed to build anything particular (Unless you prefer guidance, then it is no problem of course). Really, all you need to know is this -You don't even have to be a good builder -You do not have to be active very often -Building outlines on the map are in no way strict- I did them in a few minutes, just to get the spirit of the layout across -You wont be expected to even take part in the server if it doesnt interest you, but if it does you will receive many goodies when the public launch begins -You may also build your own stuff elsewhere if you plan to play on the server Contact me on discord if you are interested (CrystalPepsi4, or oisinphone), and I will answer any questions you may have. As I mentioned in my post, I haven’t come to dislike my former colleagues at all. If anything, I regret just a little that I left without even saying goodbye.
