Zaph42nd Posted September 14 Report Posted September 14 Curious about y'all but about a year ago I jumped ship from Discord; however I've never really found a social media platform that is quite as expensive or popular as it and with IRC being a bit niche, finding the same affinity/interest groups has been a challenge. Any thoughts on similar platforms to Discord? I'm particularly interested in federated and FOSS alternatives
hstone32 Posted October 10 Report Posted October 10 Matrix seems to be the goto. Many of the former discord communities I used to be a part of have migrated to Matrix. Those that haven't, well, I've sorta decided they aren't worth my time anymore.
