Rakeesh Posted September 15 Report Posted September 15 This might be an odd question - Is it possible to rebind the crouch+right click to place objects to something not requiring crouching? I've looked everything but have not found any mention of an alternate keybind or function that addresses solves this. It's not so much the key that's my problem, but crouching when trying to place items often makes it extremely finicky when trying to put an object down on the far end of a surface when standing in front of a block.
Solution MKMoose Posted September 15 Solution Report Posted September 15 As far as I can tell, you can: Rebind Sneak to something other than Shift. Uncheck the "Mouse click modifiers locked to Sneak/Sprint keys" checkbox in Settings > Controls. Keep in mind that this will also return the Sprint modifier to the Ctrl key, if you have it rebound. Unfortunately, I'm not aware of a method to rebind the modifier keys while keeping Sneak bound to Shift.
