some plants mimic other plants such as poison hemlock mimics wild carrot and mushrooms are renowned for toxic mimics

some plants can sting just by brushing against them like the stinging nettle or giant hogweed

there are legends of some large carnivorous plants that are man eaters like the man eating tree.
