Fire only burning at 700 degrees with charcoal

hello everyone, i have made allot of copper tools, however recently i can not get my fire to heat up over 700 degrees with charcoal ? has anyone had this recently that could help please

The crucible is full of copper and has solidified if that’s makes a different ?

What tests have you tried? Tried building a new fire pit? Burning different materials? Smelting in a different crucible?

I have built another fire. Next I will try a new crucible, it was full of copper aswell, I am pretty New to the game so not sure how to get hold of a different material to burn. I know you can use peat ? But not sure how to create this thanks Ben

If you reheat copper to pour into moulds you don't get a progression bar when the copper i smelting, and the crucible don't move from left to wrigt. The melting temperature displayed use to be wrong aswell. But the copper still smelts and the temperature should still be the same. Just to make sure that's not what your talking about.

Just to give a update, After logging back on a few hours later it seemed to sort itself out. Thanks for the help everyone
