A Helpful Shortcut and Tip for Crafting

I’d like to share a tip I have recently discovered…

Let’s say your hot bar is empty. You can shift + left click items from your inventory to quickly add it to your hot bar. That’s nothing new.

Alternatively, you can hover over an item and push the corresponding number to add it to the hot bar as well. Again, not new. Now, the neat thing is if you have an item in your hot bar, hover over any empty space in your inventory, storage chests, or even your crafting menu, push the number for the item in the hot bar and it will move that item to the empty space you’re hovering over! This is super useful for cooking or crafting anything that uses many different items… so much better than dragging your mouse all over the place for each item.
