tg2357
I recently bought the game on Itch, and the key link provided there is leading me to a 404. Additionally, any link in the account.vintagestory subdomain seems to be giving me a 404 error. Is this expected for forum accounts that don't have a game account associated with them? If not, are the 404 errors effecting anyone else or am I just an incredibly unlucky individual?
quarthshplunk
I doesn't help too much I have the same exact issue, I just bought the game and its doing this to me as well.
Kazeoni
Existing player here with the same issue. Wanted to update the game today, and getting the 404 on the account management and download pages. Also gets the same from the in-game link for updates and the "new stable release available" message doesn't appear in the main menu where it always does. My current installed version is unaffected and works perfectly. Don't know what happens but looks like a complete server-side loss of that part. At least if this issue effects all of us, it will get noticed and solved sooner.
tg2357
Okay, it's somewhat comforting that it's not just a me thing. Might just be expired ssl certificates or something similar based on the browser warnings? Here's to hoping it gets fixed soon either way. Glad to hear that your older versions still work. The "old player trying to update" was something I considered might be happening and is kind of what I was expecting to see, so thanks for mentioning that. Kazeoni
You may try now The in-game prompt to update returned, as well as the account and consequent downloads page on the site on my end. Didn't try to actually download yet, as I barely had a quick session before off to job... not nearly enough to fiddle with mods on a new version. But be sure to check out the budding modding-scene once you get the game running. Very user-friendly.
