DrEngine Posted June 28, 2022 Report Posted June 28, 2022 We play on our server MP Vintage story. We all can use lantern in the second hand to lit underground. It has stopped functioning suddently for one of us. Day light is ok, landscape is properly lit even during night. But as soon as he dives underground he doesn't see anything with lantern in hand. If I stay by him with my lantern (and I can see lit surrounding) he has black screen and he see nothing. He tried to restart VS, restart computer, reset Graphics settings, use another lantern. Any hint ? Help?
Hal13 Posted June 28, 2022 Report Posted June 28, 2022 (edited) light from items seems based on particles in VS maybe he somehow doesn't see any particles and therefore no light? Try a lit pit kiln at night, if it doesn't provide light for him too, this might be the problem. Edited June 28, 2022 by Hal13 1
Nilomck Posted August 16, 2024 Report Posted August 16, 2024 I am having a similar issue suddenly where any light source be it torch or lantern in my offhand only provides light if my main hand is empty but if I equip anything then its as if I'm not holding a torch or lantern in my main hand.
