Yeah I just wanted to go from my kitchen to my living(read as smithy) room with out going through a door so I can use my torch holder for both, but its seems to be 4 blocks too long The basement just needed one set of strategically placed door to work so that helps Been working it out in creative, now I just have to move half the house over 4 blocks to line everything up in survival, if only I could have clam activity to get the remodeling done before winter fully sets in, but every time I try I get high or apocalyptic

Sooo I need to add doors to the inner rooms and not just have archways and probably put my stairs to the basement in a closet?

I am new to the game and trying to build my first house and move out of the dirt cube, but my second winter is fast approaching and I can't seem to get rooms to work. My cellar works fine, but it's started snowing and now I am freezing inside the rest of the house, there are no windows (figured I would add them when I get glass so left the walls solid) and every thing is enclosed I tried the 'debug room hi' thing and it says none of it is a room What am I doing wrong?
