Igneous rock tends to generate in very large regions and is also very common. If you spawn somewhere with igneous rock it can be quite hard to find other rock types without going through a translocator, in my experience.

Please check if this still happens in 1.18.4.

I think the point is that the Zalgo text is rendering between characters instead of atop the characters. Similar issues are reported on Linux for other programs: https://github.com/alacritty/alacritty/issues/5973 https://github.com/alacritty/alacritty/issues/1420 You're likely on Linux, and combining characters don't seem to work properly in the font used for it.

This is a known issue in 1.18.3, it's a visual issue with the HUD. Should be fixed in 1.18.4. Please ask for help with any further bugs on the issue tracker or in the #bug-reports channel on the Discord.
