I suppose that, in this case, the game unable to parse "acorns:flour-acorn" because when it looks for it, it just isn't there. Perhaps just a simple optional patch mod would suffice in this case? I think either that or make a whole 'nother recipe that that doesn't worry about using acorn flour at all.

I found the source of the problems with making breaded foods: You MUST have Acorns installed or it will not make the recipe. I came up with the hypothesis while looking at the recipes for some of the breaded foods and noticed that it can call for using acorn flour instead of normal grain flour. After testing with Acorns installed, I can now make breaded foods finally. Seems without Acorns installed, it just isn't able to read the recipe properly, I guess? And this was tested with the newest version you just put out.

Nothing, unfortunately. Some stuff about the handbook, but nothing else. Checked my other logs, nothing in them either other than loading up EF (which doesn't show any errors, from what I can tell). EDIT: Decided to try a fresh reinstall of VS, just in case that'll make any difference and nothing. Also tried to update to the latest version (1.3.11) and no difference either for making breaded items. Also running into the bug in 1.3.11 which won't let me use the mini mixing bowl as well. I can lock and unlock it, but clicking on the mixing bowl itself doesn't do anything.

Any breaded food. I've tried with veggies (chopped and unchopped) and meat (smashed and nuggets). Is there anything I can check to help you find a source for the bug? I was also testing it on stream while jakecool was watching last night and he seemed stumped as well.

I have tested both in multiplayer and singleplayer and are unable to make breaded foods in either. (Previously said "fried foods" and meant "breaded foods". If I give myself a piece of breaded food with creative mode, I can make it into oiled breaded food and fried food just fine).

I'm running into the problem of not being able to make fried foods as well. Tried several different permutations (veggies, meats, different flours and breadcrumbs, different binding agents, etc.), but no matter what I do I cannot get them to make in the mixing bowl. I checked the recipes list in the mod files, and its all there just fine. I have also tried it with all mods installed and uninstalled with a fresh version of Expanded Cooking as well.
