THANK YOU!!!! It's been doing this on my single player world constantly and it's been bugging me.

They did indeed but for some reason the first two trees I chopped down that had cicadas stayed for almost an hour, the rest disappeared within a few minutes.

Hey so I've been away for a while and just updated to newest 1.20.10. I've noticed there are cicadas in the game now which are amazing cus it adds such a good vibe to the game. However I do have a problem. When I chop down the tree the little cicadas stay exactly where they were on the tree but just hang in the air and continue making noise. I do not mind having them in my gmae but is there absolutely no way of getting rid of them?

Is there a way to get rid of the cicadas once they have spawned in? They infested a tree near where I was building my base and when I had cut the tree down there was just these little brown cubes floating where they had been on the tree that continue making the noise. I do not mind them being in the game at all but I would like to know how to get rid of them.
