I was making a simple bridge between my main house and my mill/crafting rooms and the idea occurred to me to use fences as guard-rails. It turned out pretty nice looking, and it also keeps the path relatively small while not feeling crushed (1x2 feels a bit claustrophobic to me so I try to avoid it at all times unless mining). I know its possible, as the fences can stack properly, but it seems to ignore the roof as something to connect to. In this case a bit of stair to round off the bridge The issue i run into here is that the fences don't meld into the roof properly. I know the blocks can meld because they do for other fences, but as the last image shows, they just kinda...stop at the top. Maybe I'm just missing it, but i can't think of a situation where you wouldn't want the fence post to meld properly. Maybe even make it a form-change with a wrench? If this is anywhere else, I cant find it, both as a mod search and looking through the last few pages of posts. I feel its a general rule that one should at least make an effort to make sure you're not spamming similar posts.
