VINTAGE SEASON 3 (VS3) A roleplay-driven survival world. Custom content. Active staff. A real economy. THE WORLD IS DANGEROUS. THE DANGER IS MEANINGFUL. VS3 is a serious roleplay server set in a low-to-medium fantasy world on the edge of the gunpowder age. Custom content, magic systems, multiple playable races, and a player-driven story shape every season. Whether you want to lead a faction, run a smithy, study lost lore, or just farm in peace, there's a place for you. Currently running on Vintage Story version 1.21.7. WHAT MAKES VS3 DIFFERENT Custom content and curated mods. We're not running a default modpack. Our mod list is hand-picked to deepen survival, expand crafting, and support roleplay. The setting blends low-magic mysticism with emerging black powder technology. Playable races and classes give your character identity from day one. Multiple ways to play. Be a soldier, smith, hunter, merchant, scholar, smuggler, mercenary, hermit, or politician. PvE and PvP faction tracks let you choose your level of risk. The deep end is optional. The shallow end is real. Roleplay-first conduct. No random KOS. No griefing. No drama. Conflict is allowed and encouraged, but it must come from roleplay. Bad faith behavior gets removed. Active GMs and professional staff. Our Game Master team runs custom events, quests, instability scenarios, and worldbuilding scenes regularly. Staff are clear about rules, fast in response, and dedicated to keeping the world alive. We don't write your story for you, but we make sure the world reacts when you write your own. 18+ adult community. We expect players to handle in-character setbacks like adults. IC stays IC. No erotic RP. Have a backbone. CORE SYSTEMS Custom events and worldbuilding. GM-run quests/events, global events, festivals, court scenes, and major story arcs keep the world breathing between player-driven moments. Faction politics. PvE factions for builders and traders. PvP factions for sovereigns who want to declare war, take territory, mint currency, and shape the political map. Recognized factions, formal treaties, and real diplomacy between players. Working economy. A staff-minted currency anchors trade. Player-run shops, contracts, bounties, and physical goods move through a real market. Wealth means something here. Notional death by default. Most PvP deaths do not permakill your character unless you opt in to True Death. Lose, learn, return. BASIC PLAY IS ENOUGH You don't have to join a faction or fight wars. Farm, build, explore, hunt, trade, or settle a quiet homestead at the edge of the wild. The advanced systems exist for those who want them. The basic survival experience is fully supported.
