I haven't reached copper picks yet, so I have to settle for packed dirt cellars; but I will add an extra layer now that I know that helps. -

it turned out the summer heat was causing it -
I wanted to make a hatch to my roof so I can shoot arrows at enemies on the ground, is this possible?

I'm not sure if this is a bug or if it's intentional, but when I built my cellar with packed dirt this time (I'm playing with the physics that causes normal dirt to fall) my food started rotting faster at x1.11 rate. Has anyone else been having this issue, and is this normal?
