Were you able to trap it first time? I tested with cabbages and kids, 2 traps, baited each 7 times, caught one on the 6th and 7th time.

I am not sure if the basket traps are working properly for deer/goats, I baited one 9 times with cabbage ( as instructed by Dana), there was 3 kids and not a single one was caught, but all of the cabbages vanished. Perhaps the reinforced crates are not working as intended either, I dnk.

I don't think elk eat berries, you have to use a food they will eat.

I know there is mods, I would just like for the vanilla icon to be more in keeping with the size and visibility of other vanilla icons. I find that mod's icons to be too much.

Perhaps it is just my older eyes, but I find myself forgoing the ruins icon in favour of the cracked vessel one because it is less obvious.

So right clicking on this just sticks it to my cursor, shift right click moves it to my backpack.....Still not equipping. I did try with character menu closed too.

I am sure there is one, I just cannot work out what it is. I don't mean shift click, but a key to equip armor from your hotbar, I am sure I have seen someone do it without opening the character menu. Thanking you in advance.

Has anyone else noticed a decrease in animal spawns (except it seems chickens) in this update? I have discovered 9 traders and have seen 3 bears, a lot fewer wolves and pigs than previously. Although I have seen a few more deer than usual. Am I just very unlucky? With this in mind, I have doubts as to whether I will ever even find an elk to tame.......

Oh, apologies I forgot I had made this post. I came to the conclusion it is fog related.

So I closed and restarted game twice, the second time the glow reappeared. Nope, I was mistaken they still seem a bit dim.

So my torches have stopped emitting light, it is making caving quite difficult, throwing one into a pit has no glow. I tried relighting the chunk with debug, it did nothing. Any suggestions?

Oh now I get it, tyvm, back to baking.

Soooooo, what am I missing here? How can I complete this transaction? I have space in inventory, he has demand for 4 bread according to tooltip (what does the 8 mean?). I am feeling quite foolish. Help gratefully appreciated.
