Sounds like the mods on the server (if any) and the mods on your local VS (if any) are different. Recipes are downloaded from the server when you join it.

1) There is something to be said that mods are made as a pastime for users. It's a hobby. I understand that there's a certain personal loss involved when the author of a mod you grow attached to can't fix a bug and it ruins the game for you. Even then, any author, AI or not, still sunk so much time into making mods. We don't owe each other anything. People are free to avoid AI-involved mods, and people are free to make mods using AI. A good compromise is a AI-Use disclaimer on mod pages. 2) There's too many comments on the mod db that just talk about AI. It's incessant. At some point it's just spam.
