  1. So many good ideas in this thread. I want all of them in game! I personally would love a way to trap and transport the mobs, to be able to make a mad scientist tower with caged mobs that could be studied over time to gain lore bonuses and maybe other perks (learn Drifter language?).
  2. Birds of prey, for the Falconry potential. I think Falconry would fit well with the other systems in the game. Also Hamsters, because they're awesome
  3. I have exactly the same issue, and came to the forums to post as much. Same settings as you OP. Always there's the old faithful group of two Bowtorns and one shiver. Kill them and 15 seconds later they respawn a few blocks away. They also have very buggy looting. Can slice them with a knife and no loot window spawns 9 out of 10 times.
  4. April fools day is soon... I dont want to see that chicken thing(?) in game!
  5. Hey, I'm doing better than the turbo cliff-jumping bunnies in my world. They would rather un-bunny themselves than allow me to pet them Welcome to the forum and game :]
  6. Hi all, so the weakest part of the game in my opinion, is the world generation. No matter what I choose in the settings, it always seems to generate very little 'livable' land. Much of the environment is exceptionally broken and sharp tooth hills and mountains, with the block instability on (which I always use), this kind of terrain is essentially non-traversable in any reasonable time. Then there are the gaping pits, seemingly to the centre of the world, that are every 50 paces in more open areas. Often obscured by trees and vegetation. Again, with block instability on full, these can collapse when approached making even walking through a meadow a death trap! Am I missing some generation setting ? I just want to generate a world where caves and the like are reasonably placed, and hills and mountains have at least the chance of making winding roads through them. Any world gen advice would be good, thanks.
  7. This is 10% complete ? Wow, that makes me happy ! Is there some road map somewhere to read about future content ?
  8. For my 2 pence worth, the Temporal storms and other mechanics around sanity are out of place in the incredible survival sandbox. I've never once thought any of those mechanics enhanced my experience while playing. A storm was always something that interrupted something I wanted to do with something I was forced to deal with. I play with storms switched off now so no issues
  9. I just wanted to ask the community if this is normal. After playing many tens of hours in a 1.19 pre version, I have only seen three types of stone. Granite, Andesite and Basalt. I have ran for in game days in all directions, swam across oceans, dug to the centre of the Earth, climbed mountains but the entire world is made of Granite, Andesite and Basalt.. This is obviously stymying gameplay, as I cant progress several lines of gameplay (the traders are no help either but thats another topic!). Am I just very unlucky? Has anything changed in 1.19 ? In my other 3 worlds, within a day or so running in a fixed direction I always reached other stone types / general different terrain. But in this 1.19 world everything is almost the same in every direction seemingly forever. This and the general terrain generation are my only complaints with this fantastic game Thanks for any insight!
