I have a hen and a rooster, and two henboxes with 3 fertilized eggs each, but the hen won't incubate the eggs?? I thought it was a saturation issue, but I've been keeping them full and she still won't go broody. Her tooltip says "ready to lay" and that's fine I guess, but she also hasn't been laying eggs outside the henboxes. Do I need to change something to make her go broody? She and the rooster are gen 1 animals at "good" weights and they live in the attic of my barn on slabs, if that makes any difference. I'm also worried if me constantly checking on them and freaking them out is influencing something.
