  1. Game is too easy currently. I want everything to be more difficult and time-consuming to achieve items and progress. Things like blacksmithing, farming, tailoring, butchering etc all need to be implemented. I want the world to be brutal as well. I want areas consumed by the rot with dangerous enemies. I want natural disasters threatening to wipe my base out. I want seasons that fluctuate due to temporal influence. Excessive rain in summer. Drought making farming near impossible. Disease culling my animals etc. I want the world to reflect more of the lore and not be a sunny, happy paradise considering the mass-extinction event the old world went through.
  2. So I've recently encountered one in my solo playthrough. Was trying to put down ladders to explore a high-iron cave but went too low and dropped 40 blocks. Immediately a bell started ringing and scared the crap out of me. Not fun.
  3. Haha that's fair. Yea it's from Beetlejuice. One of the funniest moments of the movie in my opinion.
  4. I feel you with the sounds. With headphones, immediately hearing the raspy breathing of bow-torn and shiver while in a cave is quite unnerving.
  5. I do have that problem. One thing I've started doing is looking for a location with a certain theme in mind. On this new world I have, I'm building a dwarven settlement inside the mountain. I found a relatively thick mountain with decent surrounding terrain. I also use the rivers mod and the mountain is bisected by the river which looks cool. You really need to have a theme in mind and search with that mindset. There are plenty of times where nothing looks good until I have a set goal in mind. Another themed build I'd love to do, potentially in the same world is find a big desert-area and build in a Byzantium-style. Just gotta have a set building style in mind.
  6. I dont have arachnaphobia or anything like that, but it's something about locusts, how they spawn/sound/crawl that really activates my "Yuck" meter. Shivers are sort of the same way but dont give off quite the same feeling as locusts. I can still cleave my way through them but I'm surprised by the weird signals my brain gives off when I see them haha. Anyone else experience that at all? Makes exploring caves interesting for sure.
