Thanks guys! That last update wasn't that long ago and we already almost have another update. I just wanted to say I appreciate the hard work! Color me impressed.

I so agree. When Minecraft had their combat revamp update 1.9 it was a feature I didn't know I wanted but was extremely happy to get. It's really a shame they nerfed the combat to be easier in that game again. I voted for the combat just because I want the combat to be good in close quarters, spears are fun but that's all in this game and you have to have 4 of them to kill efficiently.

Eives worked pretty good for me. There's lots of reeds near spawn and I settled near a lake that probably took 1-2 minutes to walk to if I died. Later in the game I settled in the west in a prairie once I farmed like hundreds of drifters for a Temporal Gear.

Seems like muskets would just fit right into this game for hunting bigger game. Have the devs ever considered this or is this outside of their plans?

I have been killing drifters in my mine for hours now and not getting lucky. Is there a change I didn't know about? And is there solutions to the difficulty in finding these like a farm?. I am on the hardest difficulty so they kill me in 1 to 2 or 2 to 3 hits. I built a pillar in the middle of a cave that has trenches around it kinda like a mob dropper and they never spawn around it so I've never used it. I usually have to lure them over to it so they fall into it but by then it kinda defeats the purpose because it's unsafe to find them as I can get cut off. I'm just looking for ways to efficiently kill them, any help would be nice.

I was noticing that as long as I kept a range animals weren't scared off when I missed spear throws. I feel this needs changed personally.
