Sometimes crafting rope from vine will create "fake" rope, and won't actually consume any vine, and the resulting rope will not be usable anywhere, and will disappear after a reload. I have absolutely no idea what causes it, it works fine for hours, and then suddenly it does not. It also messes up the crafting grid, and leaves "phantom vine" in the grid, so other recipes will think there's a random piece of vine in there somewhere, even thought it's invisible. I've seen people on reddit complain about not being able to use the crafting grid twice already, I ask if they made rope recently, and they did. Always happy to see a new update. By the way, any news about the vine-to-rope glitch? I'm always so paranoid when I need to make rope.

I've been making regular backups of the save file after every episode, especially since I like tinkering with stuff in between, and I make little intro clips with the cinematic camera. So I finish the recording, save the game, backup the file, do my stuff, and restore the original when I'm ready to record. What I'm paranoid about is compounding errors. If it's a one time thing then I can roll back and not do the thing again that caused the issue. But if it's a small hidden thing that snowballs into a save-breaking error later, then I'm SOL. Had to record 2 episodes on rc9, so I can only hope the only reason for the recall was that dupe-glitch, in which case it's no biggie. But it still makes me a bit paranoid. Anyways, the flatpak is now on rc10, so thank you Tyron!

Yeah, can we please get the flatpak version updated? With all the retractions I am quite a bit paranoid, I REALLY don't want to lose my current YT series due to a bug, and I have a schedule to keep with my video releases, otherwise the almighty algorithm (hallowed be thy name, and blessings be upon thee) will think I'm slacking.
