You could create a launcher on your desktop that runs that command that you do to start the game. You just gotta follow the file path too though for example in my command spot on the properties of the launcher I made on my desktop, I have this down, /home/computername/Documents/vintagestory/run.sh that's for the .tar.gz file tho so it'd maybe be a little different for you.
