Bought the game years ago. Didn´t really play it for some time, until I went into it again after some time. Started a new world and was completely obsessed! After getting all mechanics I didn´t really get threw a rough winter and ran out of everything, so I started a new world out of frustration. My last world went really well, but it was still with QOL Settings, so I now wanted to dig further into the mechanics, like cave-Ins and fire spread.... And activated fires on lightning strikes. Holy shit, I spent the last 2 days fighting LARGE SCALE WILD FIRES. IVE MOURNED THE DEAD, WHILE STANDING OVER THE BURNED CORPSES OF BAMBI AND MY NEIGHBOURING TRADERS CAMP. COUNTLESS FOOTBALL FIELDS OF FOREST HAVE FALLEN INTO A FLAMING GRAVE. WHAT THE HELL IM NEVER TURNING THIS ON AGAIN. With the FIRST FUCKING THUNDERSTORM on FUCKING DAY 2 EVERYTHING WAS NEARLY CONSTANTLY SET ON FIRE. I was quietly building my lil log house, wondering why the FPS dropped to 30, turned around and THE GATES TO HELL CRIED OUT FOR MY SOUL WHILE SWALLOWING YARS OF POSSIBLE FIREWOOD.

So, I was thinking... Mob loots are pretty bad rn, so killing these pesky buggers isn't too rewarding just yet. But what if you could skin them, and use the hide to produce leather, so you don't gotta kill as many animals. Maybe the loot pool isn't too big , but just getting these... Idk, maybe smth like "Slimey skin scrap" you have to wash and scrape to then get leather would be a refreshing thing imo. I'm pretty bad at modding though, so... Could anyone make this? Lol
