  1. Well, for now, this will be my last message here. Let’s see how this game turns out I’ll return here in three years, so for now, farewell guys
  2. With all respect, Thorfinn, you’ve helped this community a lot over the years, and you’ve helped me a lot too. But let’s face the facts: the trailer for this game has over 1.4 million views, and streams only about 20–50 people on Twitch. Normally, a game with that kind of trailer reach would skyrocket with numbers. Hell, even old-school Warcraft or Runescape are still watched and played by tens of thousands today with zero marketing. That says something, and BMIBudzYT has a solid point about it. I understand you’ve invested a lot of time in the game, but sometimes our love for something blinds us from reality. I was freed from that blindness a long time ago. Vintage Story is not made for everyone, and that’s the problem. It will never be as popular as Minecraft, which is, in fact, made for everyone. It will always remain a hardcore, niche game with endless grind, made for a special kind of enthusiast. When you look at YouTube, you can see that people would rather watch videos than actually play the game themselves.
  3. They could do it, but for some reason, they just don’t want to. Maybe it's all just an excuse to buy time for their second project which, in my opinion, is nothing but unnecessary bloat. They're starting yet another project that's already in development and, surprise, they don't even have the people to staff it. Say no more. This already reeks of failure. To be fair, I already stopped playing this game a while ago. Maybe I’ll come back in a few years if I see something worthwhile, but for now, I’m really unsure about the future of this game/games/projects and their development.
  4. I’d love to see people play this game in VR- just for fun, and to witness the frustration in their eyes.
  5. Tyron have new competition
  6. You mean the bugs?
  7. It's funny, but also kind of worrying - how do you even manage to create a bug like this in the first place?
  8. I really want to know how this stuff can even happen, whether it's an actual bug or just some weird mismanagement in the code. When I read the newer and newer patch notes, things just keep getting crazier.
  9. Well, that's true in the majority of cases, but on some special occasions, you can. There's a website called GOG where you can buy games, keep them forever, and truly own them.
  10. @radfast It would be better for people who own a game to have full control over it. For example, why should we need to log in if we want to play offline? If I wanted to play online, I would log in without a problem. But I don't see any reason to log in when I'm not planning to do any online activity with other people.
  11. Thanks for explenation
  12. I have log out from my vintage story and i cant play game without log in
  13. Go vote for Stop Killing Games. Developers will later be forced to change the game so that it doesn't require an internet connection or a login every time you want to play offline. The biggest problem with Vintage Story is that if the developers decide to stop and shut it down, the game will become unplayable because it uses a license key system. I hope this will be changed soon.( You don't own game ) https://www.stopkillinggames.com/eci
