i had the same experience.....
expectation: i will build a big city with a lot of houses for each profession i can think of....
reality: dirt house for a long time and experiencing a long life of hunter-gatherer, more hunted then hunter! actualy!

i really liked this Idea, dropping the pickup part! i think this ancient tech is very finicky, and if you pick it up you'll need one blueprint to replace it any where else, ( you just get pieces!) and one of the things to repair it could be some cupronickel or even titanium plates!

that's why i started a new world on passive! if i attack, they just turn and destroy me! latter when i start going into caves i'll turn them agressive again....
if you know the name of the structure, i think you can force it to spawn! but... this is way above my knowledge level.... i have no clue how the structure is called and the command to summon it to you!
we are at 0 days without fire hazards!!!!
i know that have a command to regenerate chunks, i do not know if it will regen the structure......

World Height: 320 ... (384 is also quite dramatic, for people who want to see more intense landscape with fewer flat regions.)
Landform Scale: 300%... (200% is also good for players with lower render distance or who want to see variety more quickly while traveling.)
Upheaval: 30%
i prefer with 20% upheaval... less steep mountains.....
