  1. I wish to put in the suggestion that a clock (well, a selection of clocks would be nice) and a calendar would be a great thing to put in the game, as I really would like to know what time of day it is in my world. I think it is really important. Same goes for calendars too. I used to have both of these as some separate mods, but since they fell out of date, no one has seemed to pick them up or created another one. It'd be nice to have this as a standard thing ingame, so the mod for something so crucial doesn't break with every damn update, lol! Anyway, what do you think? Can we have clocks and calendars in the game as a permanent thing without having to resort to mods? Pretty please, devs?
  2. So....after all this time, NO ONE has redone a clock mod? I used to have one ages ago, but of course, whoever made it, got bored with it and didn't update it, so it broke upon the next game update. It was SUCH a nice clock mod though! One of them you could even create a cuckoo clock! That was cute! After that one broke, no one seemed to pick it up, and the mod maker never did anything with it. ( I did try contacting them, but i don't think they answered) Such a shame. Can anyone even remember that one? I am SO keen to have another one like it again, as I did find it useful to see exactly what time it was in my world, as the game lacks that terribly. On a similar subject, I think I once found another one that gave you a calendar to put on your wall, so you could see the day as well. I liked that a lot! Why isn't anyone making anything like this anymore? I personally think it's a critical part of the gameplay in know wtf the time actually is. I might also suggest it as something to add ingame officially too. Pretty please, can anyone make something like this? It would be a good way to make money if you included a Koffi link or something. I am THAT desperate for someone thing like this in game again, lol!
  3. I found it super exciting getting Cliff hanger? I can't just dump them in the damn wilderness halfway! I can't keep travelling like this, guys. I have chickens and elk to feed!
  4. I too would like to know how to delete dead villagers. My issue is a bit different, I suppose, but the issue is the same - a dead body that can't be dealt with and won't go away. I've actually got a mod called VS Village (and it's extra bits) so I'm unsure if this is something that can be fixed with the (original) game codes or the mod creator needs to help with this. I've put in my question on the modder's page, in case anyone can help there too. I'm covering all bases, lol! It seems to be an issue I'm seeing quite a few places - there's no way to get rid of a villager body....and that's a problem. Can anyone help with this? I've already looked up some codes that are apparently meant to help, but I'm either not applying them right, (do you have to focus on the body in question, or do you need the individual NPC body code, like in Skyrim, or what?) or they're just plain not working for this particular instance for me. I found an entry somewhere that listed this page from the Wiki page, just in case this might help anyone else, or it might give you an idea what I've already tried. https://wiki.vintagestory.at/index.php?title=List_of_server_commands/entity If anyone can give their perspective in this, that'd be great! This is a really niggling issue for me. #firstworldgamerproblems.
  5. Lol, this is Minecraft with a texture. We're not stupid! Also, your build could be better. It's very basic. You can add more interest to your builds by extending the roofing over the edge, for starters. Adding any sort of texture on the walls is good too, often aiming for framing the outside windows in something. Fencing can add a lattice-like texture, and is one of my favourite things to add. Don't forget trap doors too. You can make them into outer shutters for your windows. Showing some 3 dimensional texture really lifts it. You can also spice it up by building more than a box with a door. That sort of build is what little kids do, lol! Give your house a porch, or go two storey and add a balcony, so you have a view to watch the sunset with. Add a wing or two to it if you like. How about a basement? It's good for extra storage. You can absolutely do better than a box with a door. Play around with it. See what you can come up with. And please, next time make it a build from the actual Vintage Story game. It's nice to keep it relevant. We aren't so easily tricked.
